Super Bowl Sunday

Today is the Super Bowl, it’s The Saints vs. The Colts. I think The Saints are getting the sympathy vote from most of the country. But I really could care less about the Super Bowl this year. I’m only going to a friend’s party for the food. Well, that and to watch him get mad and scream at the TV, like that’s really going to help the player running the ball.

“RUN MOTHERFUCKER RUN!!! I SAID RUN!!! WHY CAN’T THAT MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLE RUN THE BALL?!”

“I don’t know John, maybe it’s because those other three big motherfucking assholes just knocked him on his ass and then piled on him. Either way, he can’t fucking hear you!”

It’s been our yearly tradition for about six or seven years now.

One of the best parts of the Super Bowl are the all new commercials that come out. This year will be bitter sweet for me and millions of other St. Louisians watching our beloved Budweiser commercials. They’re usually the best commercials of the game. Hopefully this year they won’t be in Dutch.

I’ll try to keep you updated on the commercials tomorrow. Maybe add a few of the better ones when they get posted.

If you’re a free speech advocate, here’s a link to an interesting story that unfolded Friday in New Orleans. Apparently a kid in New Orleans was sent home because he wore a Colts jersey to school. They were having a Wear Black-and-Gold day at school and relaxed the “no-jersey” policy for the day. This kid, being from Indiana, wore his Colts jersey. The ACLU stepped in, fighting ensued, blah, blah, blah…

Here’s the link if you want to know more about it:
